Which license do I need?
As a rule of thumb: non-commercial learning may be free with attribution and backlink, client work requires Professional Licensing, and internal training or implementation requires Enterprise & Association Licensing.
Reply with (1) where it will appear, (2) who the audience is, and (3) whether this supports client work or internal enablement, and we’ll confirm.
Can I use it for free?
You may be able to use the PESO Model® for free under “Educational Use License (Free): Non-Commercial Use Rules and Examples” only if your use is truly non-commercial and includes attribution and a backlink to a Spin Sucks PESO Model® resource.
Can I modify it to match my brand?
No — modifications are not allowed (including colors, fonts, layout, overlays, cropping pieces, or design changes). See: “Can I Modify the PESO Model® Graphic? (No—Here’s What Counts as a Modification)”.
Can I recreate/redraw it myself?
No — recreating or redrawing the PESO Model® graphic is not allowed. You must use the official files. See: “Can I Recreate or Redraw the PESO Model® Graphic? (No—Official Files Only)”.
Can I use just a quadrant?
No — partial use isn’t allowed (quadrants, labels, or pieces). See: “Can I Use Only Part of the PESO Model® (Quadrants, Labels, Pieces)? (No)”.
Can I teach/train PESO®?
Teaching or training the PESO Model® requires you to be at least PESO Model® Certified, and Train the Trainers is strongly preferred and often required. See: “Can I Teach or Train the PESO Model®? (Certification Required)”.
We want to train internally—what do we need?
Internal training or internal implementation automatically requires Enterprise & Association Licensing. Trainers must be certified and Train the Trainers is typically required for internal champions. See: “Enterprise & Association Licensing: When Internal Training or Implementation Requires It”.
Can we add our logo/co-brand it?
Co-branding is not allowed unless approved in writing by Spin Sucks. See: “Can I Add My Logo or Co-Brand the PESO Model® Graphic? (Approval Required)”.
What attribution and link do you require?
Please include attribution to Spin Sucks or Gini Dietrich, plus a backlink to a Spin Sucks PESO Model® resource. Copy/paste language and placement guidance are here: “How Do I Attribute the PESO Model®? (Copy/Paste Attribution Text and Placement Rules)”.
We used the Creative Commons version before—are we in trouble?
Not at all. We previously offered the PESO Model® graphic under Creative Commons, but it’s now governed by licensing terms to protect integrity and keep the model consistent as it evolves. Start here: “I Used the Creative Commons PESO Graphic Before—What Now? (Legacy Use Guidance)”.
